How to see the sum of sales which are in status(Date) in another table

Hi,

Can anyone please explain how to

STATUS is the date in another table. i need sales of all the dates which are in another tables that table is not having the sales.But date is common in both the tables.

If i select the STATUS dates its displaying but i need without selecting the STATUS dates it should give the sum of sales.

Its not working.

=sum({<STATUS= {"$(='>' & Date(Today()))"}>} Sales)
