How to select last previos occurrence population Depending on selected year ?

hello to all the Outstanding minds ,

i need to make a selection from all the population in my model : by choosing a year i need to select for each project (p_no_1)  the last occurrence that is previos to the selected year .  for example , if we chose year 2015 - then we Expect to see only th chosen population that marked in yellow :

the selected year in the listbox dont have to be YEAR_STATUS_DATE_1 , any possible solution (even macros) wil be aprishiated ,

help .... thanks !

by click the button it make the selection of the relevant records

this assuming we can select the record id

shalom Liron , it is a good start , but i need more , the next action after select a year is to select all the requested  population  that i mentioned above , is it possible ?

Hi Gysbert , thanks agian !! , as i replay to Liron , the next action after select a year is to select all therequested  population  that i mentioned above , so , if we use your waderfull solution , we say that we need to select all the members from the P_NO_1 and YEAR_STATUS_DATE_1 columns in the table "YEAR_STATUS_DATE_1".

( the first selection of year can be removed  )  , many  thanks .
