Howto: Show all dimensions in a chart (even if no data selected)

Hello all,

Let's say I have following data set

Customer, Sales, Category

A 10 X
B 11 Y
C 12 X
D 13 Y
E 14 X

I have a chart showing the values per Customer. And I have a selection on Category. If I select category X, I only see Customer A, C and E in the graph. What I want to achieve is to have a graph showing all customers, but only values for customers in my selected category.

Attached, an example qvw file.

Any ideas on this?

regards,

Bart

Hi,

if you go to Properties of the bar chart and then "Presentation" Tab.

un check check box "Suppress Zero Values". Then it will show all the customer if the values are zero also.

See the attached images.

Thanks,

Saran.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick answer, but your suggestion doesn't work. If I uncheck this option and then select category X in my filter, I still don't see all customers in the graph.

Bart

See the attached QV file. I have done using your "QV" example file.
