I am new in qlikview please help me

1.Can any one suggest me how can I save QVW output to any database instead of QVD files.

2.How can I handle sequential data

     I have account information of customer in which their balance will keeps on changing.

     Functionality should be like this

     account - account_upd + account_upd

1)I guess ou cannot save files into database from QVW,

you will have to save the output to Excel or CSV or any format and then trigger it to get saved on database(by importing)

2)You will have to use Incremental Load strategy for this kind of data.Will need more information on this so that we can guide you better.

Hi,

1. Instead of creating the QVD you can create the CSV or XLS file in qlikview and then save this files in the folder and later used this file in any other database to read the information and then convert there in other format.

2. You can use Incremental load in the scenario and create the QVD with logic.

Thanks for ur quick replay.

1.How can I load data into excel or csv? Is it same like Load to QVD r do I need to follow differently If it is then How?

2.If  balance of an customer for last month is 1000 and at for current month It changed to 2000 Now I want to update this balance to that  customer.
