I want to duplicate a column (and dis-associate fields)

Hi, new to QV and hoping for some assistance.

We'd like to use QV to analyze fields in a "what if?" scenario for our clinical QVW.  We have a column called "med_tested" and want to duplicate it so we can compare different scenarios.  For example:

Select Med1 from from med_tested and display results.

Select Med2 and Med4 from a duplicated instance of med_tested and display results

This would let us compare/contrast.  To do this, I need to "dis-associate" the columns (right now, I have 2 med_tested columns, but when I make a selection from one it is refelcted in the second.

I'm sure this is doable but I can't figure out how.  Any takers?
