Identify the particular expression in straight table

Hi All,

I have a requirement where there is traffic light for each expression. And if i click on traffic light of one expression suppose 'Safety' then it should open set of reports related to Safety and also pass all selections on this sheet.

My problem is how can i know which expression is selected and and for which dimension value.

I m attaching my application.

Here if i click on one traffic light suppose ORTHO then it should open new sheet and pass the value of dimension Protocol to the new sheet, is there any trigger for doing so?

Hi Sneha,

For the reports which you have created for safety, apply the show/hide condition so that whenever safety is selected(you can use GetSelectedCount), the condition will be satisfied and your reports will be shown.

Whatever selections you make will be automatically carried to the next sheets.

Thanks for reply Naresh, i agrre with your solution but Safety is calculated column. And i want pass the value of corresponding  dimension also.If i selected on traffic light of dimensin value ORTHO then value ORTHO should also be passed....

You cannot make a selection on an expression. If you still want to get this work for you, you can do the calculation either in the script or in the dimension. You can give a try.
