Hi Community,
Qlikview technologies stores in-memory data model, which stores all of the data in RAM instead of using Disk.
As RAM is much faster than disk.
My Question:
my RAM size : 8GB
my application would be 10GB
How to store data in RAM ?
Please can you explain anyone...
Thanks in Advance
Your answer will come based on QlikView Architecture and System Resource Usage
It is as follows:
FileSizeMultiplier is the RAM Usage of Single QlikView Application.
Ex: 1GB of QlikView Application will take 4 GB of RAM.
userRAMratio is the RAM Usage of additional Users after the first User.
If the application is 10GB (either on disk or in memory), you will be unable to load the document on a machine with 8GB RAM. Qlikview keeps the entire data model in memory, so you need enough RAM for the data as well as for the user state (such as selections).
