Input box, show one thing but set variable to another?

Hi, I'm trying to do what I feel should be a fairly simple task, but I'm finding it difficult to work out where the logic should be applied. Essentially I have a drop down input box with two values, Y and N, due to space constraints, however the variable being displayed is actually either set to Yes or No. Where can I specify if(Variable = yes, Y, N) or vice versa? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rich,

Fairly simple. Just leave it as is with your variable (Variable1) having just Y or N. Then have a second variable that has a value of:

=If(Variable1 = 'Y', 'Yes', 'No')

Variable2 will now give you either "Yes" or "No".

Regards,

Stephen
