Is it possible to insert data on excel using a QVW?

You can store data into a csv, but not an xls;
Store Table Into File.csv (txt);

If you wanted to append an Excel file you'd have to load it and add the new rows, but then again, you'd only be able to store it into a csv file.

I found the following very useful for this:

QlikTip #32: Exporting multiple QV objects to a single Excel document

Hope it's helpful

I wanted to load rows from an xls file and insert/update information in the same file. I have a personal application for finances that uses a MS Sql Server database and I have a qvw (a cash flow). I thought I could move db's data to an excel file and input new rows directly using qlikview.

You can do that by using a table box to view your data and from the menu bar of the table box, export the data into excel file and then give the excel file a name and save it to your data files folder. You can also use these data to load it into another Qlikview documents. I hope this helps.
