Is QEMC(Qlik View Enterprise Management Console) and QlikView Publisher thing or different thing?

  Please suggest me if the QEMC(QlikView Enterprise Management Console) and Qlikview Publisher are the same thing or the different thing?.............how are they innterelated?.............thanx in advance...........

Hi,

     QlikView server has the QEMC as a GUI which will allow you to do settings for QlikView Server as well as QlikView Publisher.

     Now QlikView Publisher is adds on features over QlikView Server.

     The installation for QlikView publisher is not different it is already there when you install QlikView server.

     Only thing is publisher features are hidden and activated only when you have proper licenses.

It means that we qlikview server and full licensce to take the advantage all features of QEMC and Qlikview publisher and QlikView publisher is not different software but it is part of QlikView server as QEMC is...........

Plz clarify this doubt.............

Hi,

     Yes you are right, you need a seperate license for QlikView server as well as QlikView Publisher to enjoy full features of QlikView.

     Also that there is no seperate installation for QlikView publisher.
