Is it possible to limit visible content of documents to specific users based upon their logon ID?

i.e. can the script in a table expression include an 'if' statement that shows selected users the data and other users a null field or default statement?

You can look into using osuser() or qvuser() in a condition to do what you want, or maybe better look into Section Access with data reduction.
