Some clients don't can access external links, then QlikView can't download LEF file automatically. In old QlikCommunity page existed a page to generate the LEF, but I don't find it on new QlikCommunity.

Fabio,
The easy way is to install and register QlokView with the client's license on your machine where you have internet access. This process will generate the LEF file for that license. Send LEF to client, and re-register your QV back to your own license.

Hi Fabio,

Try to connect Internet connection to ur client computer. Because once u connect the internet the qlikview automatically generate LEF.

We are a QlikView Resale, this problem occur on client, there are some restrictions to access external pages, we can't change this, unfortunately.

The better to us is, to generate this file and send to they.

I agree with you this page is missing... and our accountant people in charge of licences does'nt know how to install technical stuff.

I recommend to ask QT for LEF files, if everybody does this page may comes back ?

take care that initial LEF may be limited to 60 days (waiting payment receipt), and if your customer can't reach the net his software will stop functionning (waiting a definitive LEF) even if payment has been done.

Hi guys!

becarefull with it!

register a client license in your machine can lock the license to your machine ... is important install, register, take the LEF and unistall completely the Qlikview Server.

Something like that rappened to me when I have tried to install my Qlikview license in another machine with Qlikview Server already installed in my old server.

The Machine started services, but when I tried to access the Qlikview Management Console, they falled down.

I simply uninstalled the Qlikview Server on my ond machine and restarted my new ... everything works well!
