Limiting user from adding new sheet object

Hello Everyone,

We have deployed a QlikView document via AccessPoint. Now we want to limit the below Navigation button from our document. Please see below in red underline:

Could you please give us any solution about how we can limit this?

Is it possible to limit this with publisher? We also would like to know if this can be done without publisher.

Looking forward to the correct answer,

Best Regards,
Sajid.

Many thanks Jonathon; it's working now.

We did the following:

     1. Unchecked everything from "Sheet Properties" and

     2. Unchecked everything from "Document Properties" except for "Admin Overrides Security".

Thanks again.

Open the document in a desktop client (via a network share or RDP onto the server), uncheck the Add Sheets option in Document Properties | Security and save the document.

Also, limit the adding objects in sheet properties.

Hi Jonathon, Hi ShinduKannan:

If we do the steps mentioned then we will not be able to add sheet or sheet objects even from desktop client. Is there any work around?

On the Document Properties | Security tab, check the option "Admin Override Security". Desktop users opening the document directly with Admin rights (ADMIN in section access, or no section access) will be able to add sheets, but server users (Desktop with "Open in server", or IE plugin/Ajax from portal) will not.
