Line chart issue?

HI All,

Need to create a Line chart based on Actual & Plan.

My Requirement is when Actual minus plan Then particular subdivision should be highlighted...

If Possible needed to show the difference of those days based on the subdivision..

Hi Helen

You can create a calculated dimension to only show the Subdivision when the Actual is smaller than the plan

In the Dimensions tab, click Add calculated dimension and then use an if statement like - if(Actual < Plan, Subdivision)

First of all, make sure the dates are being loaded as proper numerical dates. Your actual requirements are a little unclear. Do you a tables showing detail with selected subdivision lines highlighted, or a table summing the time differences by subdivision?

If the date fields are numeric date values, then the difference is the number of days. Create a chart with subdivision as the dimension and Sum(Actual - Plan) as the expression.

Hi,

We can show difference in days of Actual - Plan. But here in your case All the dates of Actual is greater than Plan. So, number of days will be comes in negative numbers. Please Elaborate your requirement.

Expected Out put :

Need to pull in chart with Actual & Plan Dates, So two line charts will come..

If date matches for any particular division, then It should be high lighted with Some Color or any way..

(It means Particular sub division is On Date because of (Actual - Plan ='0'), remaining dates which are not matching actual & plan dates should be remain Same..

What should be the dimenison for the line chart and what you want to see as values for that subdivision

U r nearer..

I need all the Subdivisions in the Chart, What ever the matching Dates are there for (Young, Confere) Should be identified these are having matching dates.
