Linking tables

Hoping someone can help me.

I have two tables, one with student data with a unique field (Student ID) and a second table with student survey data again with a the linking unique field (Student ID). The problem I'm having is that Qlikview isn't linking them automatically. Whilst it's loading both table's contents, a selection within one field in a particular table is not affecting the contents of the second table.

Both tables are stored within QVDs if that helps.

Can someone help?

Make sure that both Field Names must be having exactly same name.
QlikView associates filenames when they are having same name with same case. (i.e. it's case sensitive)

So StudentID, [Student ID] and studentid all are different.
