Load data from log file

Hi,

How can we load data from a text file(eg: Performance.log) in Qlikview.

The file size is 650MB.

Hi,

use the attached QV application. If you have QV server installed you will find it here:

C:\Programs\QlikView\Examples\QvsDocuments

And it depends on the memory your server has available.

It could be that loading the whole file will need around 3 GB of RAM.

Actually it is a text file, has extension .log.(Eg: 22nd June - 28th Aug.log).

But Qlikview not showing this file, if we are accessing through Table files option.

How can we load this into Qlikview. The file size is around 650MB.

should be enough, if you type manualy the file-name into the field reserved for the filename

I didn't understand. How can we load the large(650MB) log file into Qlikview.

Normally we will load through table files option.

But, here its not showing that file to make selection and write the script into Qlikview.
