I have a POS system that I can export various data or reports into Excel. I have been able to upload the Excel file into QV without a problem. My challenge is we do about 40000 invoices per year with a lot of data attached. I want to upload the Excel files into QV weekly but do not want to have query the entire time frame (3 years) every time. I would like to just query the last week's numbers and add them to existing database within QV. What is the best way to accomplish this?
If I understand you correctly this is called incremental reload. Script just for new records in a partial reload and schedule the partial reload on weekly basis.
