Loading several files separately

Is there a good way to load several text files separately?

They must be read individually since I must update the original file with new information each time,

save the changes and then continue reading the remaining text files.

I'm thinking some kind of loop but I'm having a hard time constructing one.

Let's say the following path contains the text files is: C:\Users\user\Desktop\MyTextFiles
