Macros - Can I disable the current selection from one table but make it affective to other table with same fields

I have two tables with same field and I want to compare both with different month selections . Is there a way to manipulate this in Macros.
I am a newbie . I need help.

You don't need macros for this. Use alternate states (like shown in the What's new in QV11 demo app).

Don´t use Macros

Open "What´s New on 11" application that is installed with your QlikView.

Check "Sales Overlap" tab.
