Some macros work in Ajax, but not all. See reference manual.

See what you have in QV Server (QMC):

System - Setup - QlikView Servers - your server - tab Security

There are checkboxes that allow macros.  It should help with IE Plugin.

Don't expect macros to work in Ajax - some may work but many will not.

Macros are not supported in Ajax, they may work but are not reliable, Macros Work in IE plugin, if not check configuration

If macro try to export or generate some kind of files then you need to go in

Tools -> Edit Module , in the left side:

Requested Module Security: System Access

Current local security: Allow System Access

Besides, wen you open QV application on client, and get "macro security dialog" - make sure to allow macros.

It exports all the objects in a qvw doc into a ppt. It works in offline mode but doesn't in web view or by using ie plugin.
