Mail Setup In Qlikview (User Preference)

Hi All,

Can you please help me to setup the Mail option in User Preference. I am trying to set this up but getting the following error.We are using Lotus mail in our office.

Hi,

Try using the IP instead of the server name. Can you ping the mail server from the computer you are using QlikView to both name and IP address? Just in case, when you specify the mail server IP and address, set the port in the Port textbox, not in the server in the form server:port

You need to use SSL and port 465 if you want to use smtp.gmail.com

Its quite possible that the SMTP ports are blocked at the firewall (they are at my current client).
