Make listbox from horizontal data / Excel

Hi!

I have a problem and im a newbie! I have this Excel sheet with information, and i have made a graph with the data.

Making a listbox with the weeks are easy, but i also wanna have a listbox with the years. So i can see data for 2011 and 2013 for example.

But how do i make a listbox from horizontal data in Excel?

200820092010201120122013
v.10024015416515
v.200218224210238
v.3001992362041851

If you select both Year and Weeks as dimensions, you should get what you're looking for.

Think you should look into how to properly load a crosstable into Qlikview. That will allow you to have both informations readily available.

(in File Wizard, click on Table Files..., it will detect the Excel file, select 'embedded labels' under 'labels'. Then click 'next' twice and click on crosstabs. In your case, Qualifier fields=1, Attribute field = Year & data field= contents of your table)

Okey yeah thats cool.

That gives me both listboxes.

But the graph now shows all years combined.

I wanna see each year seperated in the graph.

Thanks

I got the years separately in a list box, with each time 3 different values (which should be correct)

I selected Year as a dimension in the chart properties, and =Sum(data) as the expression. When I select multiple years, it will show multiple years in the chart as well.

Yes sorry, i also got the years spearately in the list box, but not in the diagram. Since we are Sum(data) the graph show all data together.

I wanna se a graph for each year. So if i mark say 2011, 2012, and week v.1 to v.3 I wanna see two different graphs to compare the difference between years.

thanks for the help!
