Make mutiple selections in list box but always have one selected

Dear Qlikview user

I have a list box where I would like the user to make multiple selections. If the user decides to take off these selections, then that is fine, but I always want one selection to ALWAYS be selected

I know that by going to the properties of the listbox the is an option to have "Always One Selected Value". However this does not enable the end user to make multiple selections

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Try selecting the filters you want as default, and click the drop-down by the Clear button and set the clear state. Now, when you clear the filters, the selections you set should be kept.

Hi,

Tyler is ok for modification,

but it seems that in cas of unselect in list box, field total is not selected,

try this :

define a variable v as :

=getselectedcount("dim")

define an action on variable v in case of modification :

select in field : "dimension" and value    =if(v=0,'total')
