Match Dates

Hi All,

Please see attached spreadsheet. What are the different functions that I can I use so that Qlikview will look at today's date and tell me what the corresponding trading day is.

I need to use this result in a sales ytd computation for prior years, but ytd is not defined by conventional calendar dates, but trading days which are arbitrary.

Thank you

Hi Herbert

while loading data in Main Tab, Date Format is given as M/D/YYYY..so you can format your date as same....

Hi,

You need to build a calendar table, use function Today() and some set analysis to define the range of YTD, Previous YTD, etc.

Some examples attached.

You can find more about how to calculate YTD, ITD etc if you use search "YTD" in the community

Regards,
Sergey
