Max() with % of Sum?

Dear community,

Is it possible to identify the highest values within a column that (together) make up a certain percentage (e.g. 20%)

of the column's sum? Like a pareto analysis but in a straight table? I also don't want to sort the values, just assign

a value like "1" or "yes/no" to them.

Please find the example attached.

Thank you in advance.

Mats

You might only be able to do it using this

Recipe for a Pareto Analysis – Revisited

But this is only available in QV12 and above...

1) Do you have QV 12.1 or above?

2) Can you share the desired output for the sample provided?

Hi Sunny,

I am using QlikView 11. The output should be like this:

Capture.JPG

The first column is the sorted.

I hope it makes sense.

Thanks.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. I think it's quite a useful feature.

Well thank you for your time and effort.

Best regards
