I have multiple dashboards that are scheduled to reload during the course of the day, but find that sometimes when there is a delay on the server, that the model reloads fail due to data textfiles not found. I want to implement an initial check to ensure that all textfile data is available before reloading the models, and if they are not found that I use the sleep function and check again later (say every 15minutes) for the relevant textfiles before continuing.
The problem is that I don't understand how much memory the sleep function will use on the server whilst waiting to continue.
Can anyone please help point me in a direction to learn more about this?
