Hi All,
I have got an update from the qlik support(please see below)
According to our bug tracking system, bug QV-14210 has been fixed. A similar issue with associative selection has been reported before in bug QV-14178, and the fix applies for both bugs. The bug fix will be delivered in the next version of Qlik Engine. We have no further information of which release will contain this fix or specific release schedule. However, as the fix has been deployed to Qlik Engine, the release should come in the near future.
Thanks you all for your help and helpful advise/comments in this.
That's good news. Thanks for seeing this through!
Just so that you know.
QlikView November 2017 SR6 (released yesterday June 25th 2018) - amongst others - fixes this weird anomaly in associative behavior.
Time to dig up your upgrade machinery
Thank you.
