Need help in understanding what is the best optional chart to use

Hi,

I am new to developing Qlikview charts, I got a sample report design, its like a matrix where you have the column fixed except it has the first 4 columns dynamically changing depending on the current date ,

the row labels like new registrations and new customers are gona always be fixed, what is recommended for developing such a matrix.

Hi Steve,

I think what you are looking for is 4 expressions using set analysis with a dynamic label for each expression.

I think it should be something along the lines of:

sum({$<Date={$(=max(Date))}>} FieldName) for expression and label is only({$<Date={$(=max(Date))}>} DisplayDateFieldName),

next expression is

sum({$<Date={$(=max(Date)-1)}>} FieldName), label is only({$<Date={$(=max(Date)-1)}>} DisplayDateFieldName).

Do you have a sample app with sample data?

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply!

I do not have any sample app or data, we are trying to create a Daily KPI report with specific metrics, were you have things like New Registration, New Customers etc as Fixed, but the data obv changes according to the columns

Now I agree with you with the expression used for the date so but Im wondering if this work needs to be done from Scripting or whether it can also be done from the Pivot table or any other object that can be used.

Not sure If im clear in what im saying.
