Need help with missing object properties

First time poster here so please forgive me if this is in wrong area.

I have a couple of QV projects that I am trying to make them look the similar and I have run into a small problem. I've noticed that on the layout tab of the document properties (or any object) that some of the styling elements are hidden on one project but not the other.  If I create a new project and then add an object I am also missing these elements.  It may be possible that an administator somehow changed the template at one point but I do not know for certain and don't know how to renable.

Thank you in advance for any help or advise.  I'm stumped at this point.

Under Document Properties, on the General tab, set Styling Mode to Advanced
