Network Realtime Monitoring

Is there a way to develop a realtime monitoring app in qlikview. My goal is to monitor latency and report back issues based on setting up thresholds in the app.

QlikVIew is not a great choice for true realtime monitoring as the data is only as current as the latest reload.
