Nprinting vs VBscript

Dear Community ,

i wants to know about nprinting and VBscript for automatic mail , can anyone suggest in which way i should take knowledge to send mail from qlik document.  not i'm  not able to write VBscript and nprinting will be also first time for me so plz suggest what  will be  correct way to send email and why?

To be able to say which way is "correct" you have to specify much more of your requirements and limitations like:

- Do you have a budget to purchase NPrinting?

- How advanced is the automatic mail solution you require?

- Do you need to send with attachments?

- If you need attachments - what kind of format do you need?

- If you need attachments - will they be based on some tables in the front-end UI?

- Are you running the Small Business Edition or Enterprise Edition and are you using Publisher?

- Do you run this simply on QlikView Desktop without a Server solution?

Both solutions are correct depending on different requirements and limitations on your project...

In general most people will prefer to select NPrinting if they have enough money to invest in the licenses.

If they don't they will have to invest in development hours which depending on complexity could be just a few days

of effort up to many months of effort. Thats why NPrinting turn-key could be cheaper in the long run.

NPrinting will also support Qlik Sense whereas QlikView VBScript never will be supported on Qlik Sense.
