Number of Effictive day calculation

How to calculate Effective day in qlikview???

I use this code

=If((Date(Today()-1,'DD/MM/YYYY'))-(MaxString({1<@_Month=,@_FinFullYear=,@_TABLE={'SALE'}>}%_WEEKEND_DATE))<15,

MaxString({1<@_Month=,@_FinFullYear=,@_TABLE={'SALE'}>}%_WEEKEND_DATE))

but it does no work properly.first time its work properly but from 2nd time it does not work.

I want effective date repeatedly with respect to selection of start date by user. and here end date always be today.
