In the below pivot table, there are 2 expressions (Player, Local Player), and LocalPlayer is Player who come from City D.
However, I just want to show the grand total of LocalPlayer on the table. (I don't want the break down of LocalPlayer).
Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks!
Seems that it is impossible to hide the expression and only show the partial sum
Hi,
you can try some workaround. Show Design Grid, go to Local Player column and with right clik select Custom Format Cell, Copy Background color and paste it on Text Color.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Yani
Hi Yani, thank you for your idea,
There are still some problems to me after using your advice.
First, i hide only the data of column "LocalPlayer",
but in the column of "LocalPlayer",, the data for rows of "No. of Players in Country" and "Total Points in Country" are not hidden.
Then, I go ahead to hide these 2 rows using the same method above,
this time I can hide all the column of "Local-Player",
but the Grand total of the column of "Local-Player" are hidden too, but I want to show the Grand total for the "Local-Player"
What can I do next?
Hi,
for me it works well, maybe its not workaround for every keys. You can try something else in expressions for player and local player type if statement.
if( Dimensionality()=0, expression)
Hope this helps.

Yani
Yani,
if i use if-dimensionality function, it hides the grand total as well.
I have another problem posted in the forum, but other people fix the problem and work well too.

Maybe because I use Personal Edition.
Anyway, Thanks!
