Oracle Connection

Hi, I'm been checking a oracle connection and tried of emule it. But why in the connection appears this:

ODBC CONNECT TO [SIG-SCF_DESARROLLO;DBQ=GESDES ] (XUserId is JQFeTaNOVbXEXSFMETNB, XPassword is aHXbVaNOVbXEXSFMEbCB);

But when do my connection just appear this:

ODBC CONNECT TO [SIG-SCF_DESARROLLO;DBQ=GESDES ]

The system show me the tables but in the realod moment the connection fail. Why appear the user and pass if I put the user and pass in the ODBC connexion?

Thanks.

Hi, Yes I have created the connection. Qlikview shows me the tables but when I do double clic no matter what table. The connection fail. But if I copy the (XUserId is JQFeTaNOVbXEXSFMETNB, XPassword is aHXbVaNOVbXEXSFMEbCB);

The connection works perfectly.

That happened to me before.

You must know the names of the tables and do it blind.

First bring the whole table (load * from table) and then specify the fiels in a second step.

And yes, the connection works fine.

luck.

It's better not to show them.

Usually if is an ODBC it will show them encripted. If is an OLEDB it probable shows them.

You can use the hiden script as well.

luck.
