Hi
I have a list box which is based on a concatenated expression. The default behaviour of selecting a member from any object is that the selection appears at the top of the list. However, with this object this does not happen and the selected members stay in the same place. Is this a feature of QlikView and is there a way around this?
Thanks
If the list box has a simple field, any selection leave the field in its position, if the list box items are created by an expression then go on the top
Check/uncheck order by state in the sort tab.
Thanks for this and that worked.
I have another situation where I have two drop lists on a sheet. On selecting an item from the first the standard behaviour for QlikView is to grey out items across the objects that are not in context. So this happens on the second drop list but what I want is the in the list which are not greyed out to appear at the top of the list.
Please close this thread and open another one for your new question.
Thanks
Regards
Marco
Why would I have situation where if i select from one of the lists only the items which are not greyed out are at top, as expected. However if i select a item from another list object the items in the previous list object do not order as expected. Very odd?
