PIE Chart Color

I am using couple of PIE charts in our Dashboard. After few reloads the colors are interchanging.I have applied persistent color option checked.

Hi Jaydeep,

The colurs in pie chart are associated to the values by the order the values are shown in the pie. This order can be alphabetical, numerical, by the expression. Take into account that colour persistant refers to the colour a slice has before and after you click on it or in another field. I mean if I have a pie chart ordered by number of sales and 'India' appears in first place and its slice has blue colour, 'USA' (2nd) red and 'Spain' (3rd) green and I select Spain in this chart or in a select box, Spain will still have orange colour.

But, if I reload data and after it Spain now is in the 2nd place, it will have red colour.

I donot know if I clarify the issue...

have you used any expression to drive the PIE colors ? if not then based on the sort order and calculation logic the order of the dimension value changes and because of the you feel like the colors are changing

if you have limited dimension values then try to set the PIE color with the Expression in Expression background color

Hi,

It might be changing because of your sorting like if you have given sort by y-value then might be that causing the color change.

I was also facing the same issue but got answer shown in below image

in colors I have given as below images has I contain only 3 dimension.

as per your dimension you can give colors you used.
