Parameters passing

Hi ,

I have created button on qv document and it contans url of new document.

when i click on button it is opening new document.

i have stright table in first app and i need to populate selections in first app to second app and field names are same.

but my question is how can i pass parameters as dimension through url(Not values)(field neames in stright table like emp,empno,deptno) how??

No it is not working even same field names but may be another solutions by using triggers looking for
