Performance Open in Server vs Accesspoint

I understand using the option "Open In Server" to open the dashboard is same as the AccessPoint.  By using the option "Open in Server"

1. Is there any impact in performance or any other advantages?

2. Does it use the server resources(CPU\RAM) only or shared between the server and desktop resources(CPU\RAM)?

3. What are the limitations ?


It would be very helpful if there is any documentation on this. I couldn't find the detailed information in the QliKView reference manual.
