Pivot Table - Understanding the Calculation Logic while dimensions are hided / collapsed
Hi,
I am having a general understanding question.
I have a Pivot Table with 2 dimensions, the second one is in my standard view collapsed. Will QV calculate the results (of the collapsed 2nd dimension)
a. already when entering the tab, altough just the first dimension is visible
or
b. for QV when it is hided, it is not calculated. ONLY when opening the Pivots second dimension the calculation for the second dimension will be done at this time?
I am very interested in this question, due to performance issues.
I try it again, with a differently asked question: Does QlikView just calculate what is "visible", therefore when the Pivot collapsed, the breakdowns / the downstreamed calculations for hided dimensions are not done?
