Hi,
I've got a pivot table that one of the dimension have numeric values
i.e.
COLUMN DIMENSION_B
1
2
3
can I somehow show partial sum for this column and show under the column the value 6 (1+2+3) ?
Jacob
On the Presentation tab of your Pivot Table Chart tick 'Show Partial Sums' for the dimension in question, and set the 'SubTotals at Bottom'
Best Regards, Bill
Thanks Bill,
I think you misunderstood my Ques.
I want to sum the values that are represent the dimension not the expression.
.
Jacob
Yup I did misunderstand,
So are you trying to use what you call DIMENSION_B as a fact ?
If so then, in QlikView terminology, you will have to treat it as an expression, as in:
only(DIMENSION_B)
Once you are treating it as an expression [aka fact] then the total is dead easy.
