Plugin mode and extension objects

Can someone help me understand the plugin mode interactions with extension objects. I have an extension object that shows up when I switch to web view mode running locally. However, when I run the app from server in plugin mode (via a url), the extension does not show. Can one display extension objects while running the app from IE in plugin mode? Is there a way to "switch" to web view mode while running in plugin mode or are the two mutually exclusive?

Hi Dennis,

Extensions don't work in IE Plugin mode.

You have to select the "Full Browser" (Ajax) mode which is the equivalent to webview mode.

Hi.

You must copy extension to a server folder.  See doc.

Also you must run in ajax.
