Pre-Migration: New Server Build

Hello!

I have been tasked with migrating QlikView to our new server. Everything is going as planned (except the pain that is the CAL users).

However, our outsourced IT guys rolled out the new server and I'm a bit stumped. I'm not sure what is the most effective bit of hardware or specific build to distribute Qlik. QlikView is already a bit slow when I use it in Internet Explorer so I'm afraid if we mess this server build up we will have performance issues.

Could anyone refer any documentation or tutorial that could educate me on preferred system requirements?
