How far one can stretch Qlikview before having to invest in a full blown predictive analysis solution?
If a separate analytics package is to be acquired, any suggestion on the integration strategy?
Thanks
Hi Bonchef, very interesting post.
As far as I know, QlikView can model some kind of easy simulate / what if analysis. Anyway, this feature is not one of its streghts: it require hard developing and it is not as flexible as dedicated tools. The strenghts of this kind of "dedicated tools" is the hability to define a real business model.
On the other hand, QlikView is great for Visual Discovery and Analysis: it a real information sandbox. It would be great if QlikView could:
- easily access to the results of a simulation / what if analysis performed in a dedicated tool. I mean, with no much time consuming load
- launch simulations from the qlikview document framework.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about this...
Has anyone experinced this?
Regards,
Julio.
