Print Sheet action Doesn't work on Web View or on Ajax

Hi guys,

Anybody can provide a solution for this issue please. I have created a text box to print sheet but it works only on Local version. It doesn't work on the web. and it also doesn't work on web view..

Any idea?

The ajax client doesn't support the print option. The qlikview server has no knowledge of your locally installed printers. You will have to use your browsers print functionality if you want a print of the sheet.

Thank you for your help. the main purpose of this Print is to send the sheet to a pdf file or image file.. Anyway i can do that?

Install a utility like CutePDF which will create a virtual printer that will output pdf files. You can then let your browser print to that new printer. Or simply make a screenshot and save it as an image file.

and would the end user be able to create the pdf on their machines or they also need to install the utility?

The end user would have to install the utility (or have it installed for her/him). That's where the printing needs to be done.
