Problem: Error Document open call failed. The document might require username and password.

Hi,

I am facing following error while reloading document

I am using section access in my document and its based on DOMAIN\USERID and PASSWORD

To reload document automatically qlikview uses SERVICE ACCOUNT ,but while reloading its not able to open documnt please suggest .

Yes Agree with Peter.

Try by removing password from you section access script.

Secondly add service account to admin group not user group.

Hi,

this is the section access issue.if you are reloading the document through the server you need tho provide the section access parameters.

system--->user documents--->reload--->section access

der u need to provide the parameters.

or else you are reloading the applicatin through .BAT file then you need to add the section access parameters in that.Bat file

Hi,

I am also facing the same issue. I have the section access parameter empty but the problem is that the reload fails only rarely with the message that Document open call failed. However, on next reload, it loads successfully. I have also realized that I have still available distribution engines so it should not be an issue too
