I am trying to deploy a shared report to my client users. I added a text box object at the top in the introduction section of the Report layout. I made the text object as a shared object via the Server Objects menu. Why do i have to click on show check box for the text box to showup on the report and the text box hovers around the users sheet which is annoying. Please help.
I dont have to do the same for the chart objects that are the source of the report which also I have to share for the report to work. Sharing the chart object was sufficient .I see the report is working.I dont have to necessarily click the Show button on the server objects menu on the users login.
