Problems With Bookmarks When Splitting Data Sets

Hi,

I have a dashboard that contains data going back a couple years. Recently I split the dashboard into two different dashboards, Current month and Historical. The dashboards are the same except for the data sets loaded. I made copies of the Shared file for the original dashboard and renamed it to match the new dashboards. The bookmarks work with the Historical dashboard, but only a couple will work with the Current dashboard. I've tried messing around with the time frame selection criteria to no avail.

Has anyone out there experienced a similar issue? I've tried every trick I can think of and am out of ideas.

Thanks,

Scott

I don't think there's anything you can do but redefine them. Since the date model is different the bookmarks that include references to non-existent data won't work.

Maybe date island is an option here?

The data model is exactly the same. It's just the data that's different (one is July and the rest is June and previous months).

I'm not familiar with date island. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the tip.

Ok, same difference in this case . Bookmarks that reference non-existing data don't work.
