Has anyone noticed that macros are not working in QV 12.3 SR2 desktop version? We've developed many apps in QV 12.1 SR7 that require the use of macros. Just tried using the same tools at a client site and the macros are not working on their pc's. When they uninstalled and installed the earlier version they worked.
n.b. attached a simple qvw with a ZOOM macro for testing.
Ok thanks. As I said the client has now uninstalled QV 12.3 SR2 so I cannot get the settings.ini but will bear it in mind next time.
Did you actually test macro's on this version and confirm it to be working? Because I had about 8 users at the client site all with this version, all not working.
Currently I haven't 12.3 SR2 available but I'm quite sure that there is no bug which prevents the execution of all macros else I think it's a setting which has now a different default-value. Like above mentioned a comparing of the settings.ini should give some hints. A further possibility to check some macro-settings is to press ctrl + m or ctrl + shift + m.
