There is the option in QV to have objects auto expand with the data, and the full extent of the object to be defined separately. To view what the full extent of the objects I believe you need to turn the design grid on - which is all well and good.
In QV8.5 on switching on the design grid a black line appears around the selected object, with handles on for resizing. On clicking on another object you can change the size of that one.
However, in QV9 (9.00.7119.4) this feature doesn't behave the same. On clicking on an object with the design grid on the black line showing the full size of the object appears, but as soon as you remove your finger from the mouse it dissapears again. This means you can not resize the object without turning off size to data, setting the size, and then turning off size to data again - or am I missing something?
I seem to recall from the Professional Layout course there was a way of turning on the handles for resizing all objects at the same time - but this could only be done with a keystroke. I've subseuqently not been able to find what that keystroke is - or did I imagine it?
