QlikView Google Map API Extension License?

Hi Experts,

This post is regarding one of the requirements we have to use the Google Maps API Extension.

As part of our requirements, we need to display the data on the Geographical maps showing our business activities such as incidents attended by staff. This does not track the live data such as GPS, like the live asset tracking system. Rather, it displaying longitude and latitude stored in a database table.

During the research, I have come across the solution, QlikView Google Maps Extension (Qlik Community Page Link).

However, the post does mention about the Google Maps Licensing to use this extension object in production.

I am trying to figure out, If I use the QlikView Google Maps Extension to show our data, will it attract a Google License Fee?

Furthermore, the Google License page link given below, mentions that it is free to use until exceeding 25000 map loads per 24 hours for 90 consecutive days.

Nevertheless, I am trying to understand the below cases and the use of the Google Maps API through the Extension.

• How one map load as mentioned on the License page is defined and how it works?
• Does Zoom in and Zoom out is a map load?
• Also, the interactive responses on the map based on the Qlik Filter Selections, is it a map load as per the License terms?
• Our requirement is just to display the data on the map and NOT TO track the assets live. Does the Google Maps API license apply to us?
